Alpha Searching:
ABC Search is available in the Contacts View. If you select a Number from your
keypad that corresponding first Letter will be selected and the contacts who's
Name starts with that letter will show up. If you have the name format
set to First Last, it will show the contacts who's first name starts with
it first, and then a separator, and then the last name. Otherwise it will
show the last names first, then first names. There is an option in settings
to only ever use "Last Names" when doing an alpha search. It will also look for Company
names and display matching contacts if you have this selected in Contact Options.
To Jump back to the full named list hit '1' or '0' or on the Keyboard based devices
you may also hit '.' or space.
The system will also combine the letters into strings if you type each letter within
2 seconds of the last. So if you hit 'B' then all the 'B' Contacts will show, but if
immediately hit 'R' it will then show only the "Br" names. Note: Keyboard Based Devices only for now.
Sorting:
The Contacts can be sorted by Name, Company or Category. A column will show the
current category or company and each contact that belongs to it will be listed below it.
A contact may be shown more than once if they belong to one more than one category.
Note: The current "Sort" type will be lost if you do an alpha search in favor of the name sort.

Contact View
eXtreme Agenda uses the standard Contacts viewer and editor from Pocket Outlook. As
such it may act a little differently than the other viewers in the application, but offers
a number of benefits including plug-in support and contacting the person directly through
the interface. Hit back to return to the previous view.

Project View
The project view is a view that can help you organize all of your Pocket Outlook Data along with files and links into projects
and sub-projects. It does this using very little space by saving the projects information as specialized categories and small shortcut(.lnk)
files and links. In doing this it does cause some limitations when using the program, read about them below.
Important Information
* If you are on a project, folder, or item and want to do an action then push right and a context menu will appear.
* Due to how the data is stored, if you create a project folder but do not place anything in it that folder will be gone if you restart the
project view.
* Appointments in projects will only be shown if that Month has been loaded. You can set up the program to load up to 6 months in advance under
the options(which can be expensive during initial loading). Other settings are also available including last and next month.
* Progress bars show the number of tasks completed versus the total tasks under the current project folder(not sub-projects under the project).
The bottom Outlook folders are for you to easily select any Outlook item to place it in a project. You can load up any month you would like in the menu
on the appointment folder.
Tools
Project To Category - Will allow you to enter a category and takes all of the Outlook items and adds a category that you named. You will have the option
to remove all of the items from the project in this process(it will remove links/files as well).
Category to Project - If you want to create a project based off an existing category it will create a project folder and add everything with this category
to the new project.

Secure Wallet - Extreme Wallet
A secure wallet is included in eXtreme Agenda. A Secure Wallet (or Secure Information Manager) is basically a place to safely store important
personal information such as your Credit Card Numbers, Website Passwords, and other private info. It uses secure 256-bit Blowfish
encryption to lock your data in a safe file format so that only you can unlock it using your password.
The main view lets you access a tree view of all your secure information. If you do have the wallet file encrypted the only way to see
this page is if you enter the correct password for the file. You can enter 'new items' from the menu and use one of several pre-loaded templates.
Note: Is is possible to have the file saved so it is not secure. The MainWallet that you start with is defaulted to this. In order to keep your
data safe, go into "change password" under "current" in the menu, and then enter a password and choose the checkbox "Secure file". Then your
file will be saved securely, and you will need your password to access it.
Features
It is possible to mask all your really important data to hide it from prying eyes over your shoulder. All passwords and PINs will be masked by
default. You can toggle this on and off in the menu or by pressing the spacebar. There is an option to not mask at all under Wallet Options.
Category filtering is available for all of your Wallet Information as well..
The program has a timer that locks up your file after a preset amount of time if you have left your Secure wallet open an unattended. This is configurable
in Wallet Options.
Desktop
The Secure Wallet files are compatible with the Desktop Extreme Wallet Program available FREE with your purchase of Extreme Agenda.
Future
Linking, and the ability to create your own templates are some of the many things planned for eXtreme Wallet.
Index
Linking
Linking allows you to show a relationsship between two items. You can link one item to the other for
quick access later.
Example: So if a contact is related to a lunch appointment you can link them. Then when you are viewing
the appointment, you can hit the shortcut key to pull up the appointment's links, and
quickly jump to view that contact.

Search
The Search Dialog is available from the menu of all the Top Level Views. It allows you
to search specific fields of all your Pocket Outlook items to find certain text. Simply enter
the text to search for in the top box and then click over and hit 'go'. A list of the found
items will appear in the list and you are then able to select one and hit view to view it.
The fields the search uses are different for each type. Contacts searches the First Name, Last Name,
Currently selected phone number or contact info, and Company. Tasks searches only the subject. Appointments
searches the Subject, Location, and note.
You have the option in the menu to only choose certain types of items(Contacts, Tasks, or Appts)
to search. So if you only ever want to do searches in your appointments and contacts, you are
able to set it up that way.
At this point the search is a string search only, so it is looking for the whole string. So if you type
in "Bill Smith" chances are it will not find that in your contacts unless it matches your 'file as' field,
but if you type in "smith" then Bill Smith will appear below. There are plans to make the search much more
powerful in the future.

Category Icons
Category Icons can be displayed in the Month view along with Text displays of Pocket Outlook Items.
Icons are attached to the current Category types using the the button in the main options dialog.
Simply choose a category from the list of available and choose select icon. You will then see a
dialog of all the icons available, choose one to associate it with each category. Then in the List
views if you have the option to display them on, you will see each icon that represents a category
next to the items that have those categories selected. If you have Category Icons on the Month View
(you must turn off "bars on calendar"), you will see one icon showing the first category that each
appointment belongs too.
Category Colors are also setup in the Category Setup dialog, and if turned on will change the color
of the text of items based on this color(the first category that the item has is the color that will be
shown).
Index
Category Filtering
A filter is available in all main views which allows you to filter by Multiple Categories. For example,
if you want to only show 'personal' and 'vacation' Outlook or Wallet items in the Agenda, Contact, Wallet, and Task views,
simply turn on the 'filter' and choose those 2 categories from the list inside the filter setup. Now only
those items that contain one of those categories will appear on all the screens.
Index
Status Coloring
If you have the schedule 'Status coloring' option on then appointments will be displayed based on the
status of the appointment, in both the color of the text or times and in the day bar representation of
that item.
Status Colors are:
Blue - Busy
Dark Blue - Out of Office
Dark Red - Tentatvie
Green - Free
Index
Look and Feel
Left View Menu - There are two ways to jump from main view to main view in the program. If this option is on, a view menu will be in the left soft key
offering you a choice of all the views. If this is turned off, then the left soft key will just be the next available main view. And you may have to hit it
several times to access the view you want(or use the shortcut keys).
Back Highlighting - This put a highlight color in the background of all lists in this program.
Font Size- The Font size in most situations is easily changed, so if you have a hard time seeing or want more data on the screen you have that choice. Big Preview Text
makes the default size used in Calendar Preview and Week Views bigger but will display less information.
Colors - Options to set several colors used by the program are available. Customize the colors to your preference.
Title Bars - Title Bars can be displayed in several ways. Experiment with the settings in order to find the look you would like.
Theme Files - In Display Options all of the settings including Title Bars, Colors, Selection Type, and Background can be saved to a Theme File(.xath) to easily go back to
different color/display schemes. Simply save the file using the option in the Menu on Display Options and access the same menu later to reload any of the theme files you
have saved.

Other Agenda Options and Features
Agenda Options:
ISO Weeks - Displays Week Number on your Day/Week/Month Views
Monday Start - Start the Week on Monday in all Views
Hide Private - Hides all Items marked Private in all views
Start on View - When starting up eXtreme Agenda you can select which main view you would like it to go to, or
the last one used.
Date Selector:
On most date entry boxes in the program you can push action to see a calendar which you can then highlight
the date you would like to select and choose it.
Delete Completed Tasks:
In the task list's 'more' menu a choice exists that allows you to delete all completed tasks. So if you have a bunch
of tasks completed and want to get rid of them this is the quick way to remove them all. Note: Use with caution.
Insert Text / Contact Text:
In the menu of some entry screens you can select "Insert Text" which brings you into a dialog where you can
enter commonly used phrases such as "Meeting with" or "Lunch With" or "At the Office". So when you need
to enter one of these phrases you have quick access to them. For example if you want to put one in your Appointment
subject or location, you can choose "Insert Text" when you have the Edit box highlighted, choose the text from the
list, and select it and it will fill in to your edit box.
Contact Text is similar but it is where you can choose an existing contact, and then choose pre-defined text about
this contact from a list to insert into the text of the item.
Appointment Templates:
When entering or editing any appointment you can choose from the menu to "Save as Template". This saves to our program
a template of this appointment that can be used later to quickly create very similar appointments. For example if you have
a child's baseball game that is always in the same location, same notes, same category and takes about the same length of time,
you can enter the original appointment and save it as a template. Then choose "Appt. from Template" from a view after selecting
a day, and it will bring you into editing a new appointment with all the information filled in along with the date you had had
selected.
Internet(OTA) Updates:
In the menu in Options a choice exists for "Check for Update". This will use your internet connection to check for a newer version
of the program and offer you a chance to install it if one exists. Note: Data Rates may be incurred depending on your connection and plan.
Shortcuts:
There are options to replace the shortcuts for the default Outlook applications and instead link them to eXtreme
Agenda's more advanced views. So when clicking on Calendar Icon under Start it will instead go to this program. This will also be used
from the 'contacts' button from the Today Screen as well as the Calendar Plug-ins in the Today Screen.
Note: On the Q and some other devices the shortcuts might not take effect until you restart your machine.
The installer attempts to remove these but will try to leave them if you are just updating your current program. Please
Select 'No' during install to keep all settings. Otherwise you may have to turn these back on after an update.
