How do I sync to my Google Calendar(or other)?
For Google Calendar, you can set up an Exchange account. Go to the main settings page and choose "Mail,Contacts,Calendar". Choose "Add Account.." and choose "Exchange". Now simply use your google email address for Email and Username and your Google password, and fill in a description of this calendar. Now hit next, and when you can enter a server field, use 'm.google.com'. Finally choose "calendar' as one of the features to sync, and your calendar information should show up in your agenda after a small wait. Note: You can use the URL m.google.com/sync in your device's browser to manage multiple Google calendars and tell the system which ones to sync. Once you are done it is also a good idea to run the default calendar once as it will reset the colors on the synched calendars.

How do alerts work?
The application uses Apple's events right from their calendar. So all alarms/alerts for events are handled by Apple's code. They should work the same as if you were making them in the real calendar. Tasks use the system local notifications, make sure you have notifications for Extreme Agenda are turned on.

How do I sort contacts by last(or first) name?
The loading of contacts in Extreme Agenda uses the "Display Order" setting in the main settings app under "Mail,Contacts,Calendars" for contacts. It will sort using this same format.

I am adding an event/task/contact and it is not appearing in Extreme Agenda but is in the default calendar or contacts app?
Do you have the Global Filter turned on, which will filter all the views to hide any item that doesnt contain certain categories. Do you have a calendar turned off that is what this event was set to? Or do you have 'Hide Private' on with this item being marked as a sensitivity other than 'normal'? Note: You can always try a "shake" to reload the system's data to see if it then appears.

The App had startup problems and shutoff my contacts?
Usually this is caused by a memory error when we attempt to cache all your data. We place a file in your 'file sharing' directory for the app called 'nocontacts.marker' which tells the app on the next attempted startup to not load contact data.

The best solution when this happens, if it is possible, is to cut down the number of contacts you carry on your phone. This only usually happens if you have hundreds or thousands of contacts, and a lot with pictures, possibly from synching with Facebook or other sources. Once you remove a lot of them you can always remove 'nocontacts.marker'. In the settings list at the bottom is 'contact loading' which will remove the file and cause a contact load.

If it still crashes with this file present, you are likely having memory issues with only the large amount of events you have.If this started to happen after you had turned Contact Flow on, you can go into settings and turn off Contact Flow and then reload contacts. Using CoverFlow does use more resources so may intensify the problem. You can also try renaming 'nocontacts.marker' to 'smallcontacts.marker' in iTunes file sharing and this will force even Contact Flow to use smaller contact image files, so may help.

If you have 'nocontacts.marker' on, the app will allow you to use the regular 'birthday' calendar for date items.

Extreme Agenda has quit working?
Please note if you have recently changed a setting or had a problem editing an event or task and report it to us. We can't make the application better if we don't know about it.

You first should try closing the app in multi-tasking and doing a soft reset of the device.

Next you should try connecting to iTunes and uploading the sqlite database onto your computer and remove it from the device, and then re-start the app. If this works something in the database is causing the problem. If you do not have sensitive information in your tasks or event extensions it would be great if you could email us this file to test against so we can fix the problem.

Sometimes removing the application completely and then re-installing it from the App Store might be your best bet. You will not have to pay for it again, although the button still says 'buy' but will tell you that you already own it when you start downloading.

Consider making a backup of the sqlite database and if you are not worried about privacy of your tasks/events then send us a copy of that database so we can give it a try and see if we can see if something in it is the problem, along with noting your settings for us.
