The object of Jezzball (or originally Xonix) is to capture a certain percentage of the playing field. You do this by sending out paddles from any location on the field. These paddles extend until they hit solid material. You then capture any areas that are completely enclosed and not occupied by balls. The direction these paddles are deployed is controlled by the direction selected on the button at the bottom of the screen. If these paddles are hit by a ball you lose a life. Lose all your lives
and the game is over!
